Jackson is very active in his local community where he currently serves as a Councillor on Beaconsfield Town Council and as a community governor of a local primary school.
Professionally, Jackson qualified as a Solicitor in 2010 and re-qualified to practise as a Barrister in 2015. He read law at the School of Oriental & African Studies and the London School of Economics.
From January 2018, Jackson will start as a Director for a leading international communications consultancy.
Jackson's involvement in politics started in 2011 when he was headhunted to become a Political Advisor in Parliament. In 2013, he also helped set up and then ran the Conservative Friends of the Chinese for 4 years.
Jackson first stood for Parliament in 2015 as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Liverpool Riverside where he performed better than polling predicted. In 2017, Jackson stood again as a Conservative Parliamentary Candidate, for St Helen's North where he increased the Conservative vote for 7.4% (4,500 votes).
Jackson is currently the Deputy Chair (Political) of BCCA and was previously very active within the Cities of London & Westminster Conservatives (CLWCA). He also serves as a Co-ordinator for the Party's Candidates Team.
Jackson regularly mentors young people and has previously served as a trustee and advisor to two national charities.
He grew up in 4 different countries and is equally fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
