Anita Cranmer has been a local Councillor for 15 years. She began on Parish moved to District then Town and now County. Between 2018 and 2019 she was the Town Mayor. Currently she is Cabinet member for Education for Bucks and oversees 242 schools she also sits on the Executive of the new Unitary Authority. Her professional background is in teaching and she taught at Wycombe High before entering politics.

Anita gets things done. As Chair of the local Area Forum she promoted the Community Bus and the setting up of a new Charity to ease isolation. She has fulfilled countless requests for help from residents and fixed problems and eased situations. You can be assured that she always listens and delivers wherever possible

Lin Hazell

Lin moved to Burnham in early 1980 and became involved in local politics in 1995.  Lin was elected to the newly formed division of Farnham Common and Burnham Beeches in 2013 and immediately started to address the major concerns expressed by residents regarding the various roads in and around the division. In the last 4 years issues on major link roads the A355, Farnham Lane, and Britwell Road have now been resolved.

Work on Burnham High Street has started and One Pin Lane should start within the next few weeks and working closely with her local area technician she will continue to identify other roads in need of repair.  Over the last 4 years from her Community Leaders fund, Lin had made major financial contributions to providing Wi-Fi to the Farnham Common library, new chairs to the village hall and the food bank. Burnham has received funds to refurbish the war memorial, Burnham Twinning Association, an outdoor table tennis table and an upgrade to the Youth Club’s sound system.

Lin is also Chairman of the Burnham Youth Club working with the volunteers and police to deliver a much improved youth provision targeting anti- social behaviour within the villages.  She is currently a Cabinet Member with direct responsibility for the improvement of the Children’s Service’s and continues to work closely with other Cabinet members on service deliveries and our MP‘s.  As an active member of the South Bucks District Planning Committee she will continue to be proactive in challenging inappropriate and controversial planning applications within both villages.  Working closely with both parish councils and a member of the Local Area Committee (which she chairs) Lin looks forward to representing the residents of both parishes for a further term of office.
