Alex has lived in Marlow with his family for over 49 years. He works in financial services, is married to Emma, and both their children went to Great Marlow School.
He believes in serving the local community. 8 years as a Marlow Town Councillor, 25 years as your District Councillor and also been your county Councillor since 2017. Leader of the District Council from 2011-13, he froze District Council tax for all residents; introduced recycling direct from your homes; & the new Sports Centre at Handy Cross.
Worked with local residents to stop Green Belt being developed at Seymour Plain/Oak Tree Road. Currently a trustee of Marlow Museum, a member of The Marlow Society, the Marlow Chamber of Commerce & Chairman of the Scrutiny & Overview commission at Buckinghamshire Shadow authority.
