Wendy Matthews

District and Parish Councillor for Iver Village & Richings Park“I have lived in Iver with my family for 32 years.  I am a scientist and recently retired from the Food Standards Agency.  I have a wide working knowledge of the workings of local and national government as well as the European Union and experience of negotiating the best outcomes in difficult situations.   I have always been involved in the local community and for the past three years have been the Chairman of the Richings Park Residents’ Association.  I am a member of the Iver and Wexham Local Area Forum and the Iver Neighbourhood Action Group, as well as a Thames Valley police volunteer at Iver police station. These activities mean that I can feed back information to the local residents and raise their concerns with the appropriate authorities.  I am also a governor at Iver Village Infants School and enjoy being part of the youngsters’ community."Wendy Matthews
