Jocelyn Towns

Jocelyn and her two daughters moved to Marlow 15 years ago from North London.  She took on the role of Coordinator of the Marlow Health check in 2006, a process set up by the South East Development Agency to understand the future needs and wants of a market town.  A Vision Statement was presented and approved at a public meeting from which an Action Plan for Marlow was written.  Jocelyn also has a keen local commitment and was Secretary to the Chamber of Trade and Commerce for two years.

She became a Town Councillor in 2007, as she wanted to give something back to the Town.  Jocelyn has been a Councillor for 4 years, chaired the Finance committee for 1 year and been Deputy Mayor for the last year.

Jocelyn would like to continue to represent the Town in the forthcoming election.” Marlow has a very special feel to it and I am keen to carry on with the work I have started” she said.
