District Councillor for Beaconsfield South (Old Town) - Jacquetta Lowen-Cooper:
I have represented you as a South Bucks District Councillor since 2005. I have been on the planning committee for 10 years and I think that this experience will be essential to the residents of the Old Town with the Wilton Park Development proposals fast approaching.
My continuous experience, including both as vice chairman and chairman of the Planning committee, will be key in representing residents. The new relief road must be considered carefully and any loss of green belt also. 300 possible homes and their impact upon the Old Town must have an experienced planning committee member to ensure the residents are represented when the decision is taken. I believe that I have this experience.
Educated at Beaconsfield High School I have lived in Shepherds Lane, Aylesbury End and also Burgess Wood Road South. I now live a couple of miles outside of the town, as upon divorce I could not afford to buy a home in Beaconsfield itself. My daughter followed in my footsteps by becoming a “Becky High” girl.
I work in the district at InterContinental Hotels Group. I have worked there for the last 3 years previously working in the New Town for High March School in Ledborough Lane. I am part of the team that runs the Alumnae for the High School attracting back old pupils and their experiences for the benefit of the school.
I am hoping that you will vote for me as I will fight for local issues and for local people. I’m approachable and will always try to help.
