Their three daughters were educated at a mix of local schools comprising; St Nicolas, Burnham Grammar, and St. Bernard’s.   George held several directorships during his career. Mainly in sales, marketing & retailing. One of the latter included the Fullers chain of cake & patisserie shops, and he also held the position of Head of Retail of London Regional Transport.
