Roger Wilson, who has lived in the Marlow area for over 40 years, is a widower with three children. He has been a local councillor since 1987 and was previously Chairman of Great Marlow Parish. He has been a member of Marlow Town Council for many years, being the Mayor of Marlow in 2005 and 2010. He is currently Cabinet Member on Wycombe District Council with responsibility for Finance and Performance. This has enabled him to keep a close watch on how your District Council taxes are spent and he has been instrumental in ensuring that there has been no increase in your Council tax for 2011/12. Locally, Roger is the Chairman of the Marlow Community Association, which successfully runs Liston Hall and he is a Governor of Great Marlow School. He enjoys theatre, opera, music, cricket and walking over the beautiful countryside that surrounds Marlow. He is determined to maintain the ambience of Marlow and allow the Town to evolve as local peoples’ demands dictate.
